It’s great to be back for 2022. Term 2 has started with real positivity and optimism, with our older Secondary students returning to campus for face-to-face learning. Please be assured that we are working with the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Health to ensure a swift and safe return to campus for all. As soon as permitted, we are ready to deliver the very best on-campus education for students in all year groups. This will include of course continued access to our broad and balanced curriculum, our Mastery approach to learning, an emphasis on play and Inquiry and above all, the care we give for our students’ mental health and wellbeing.
This week, we are back with a wildlife photography competition. The entries so far have been amazing, we are so lucky to live in such a diverse eco system with access to jungle and beaches. Full details available in Seesaw and the competition closes on Wednesday 12th January.
It was wonderful to welcome the Seria community to our Assembly today, we plan for a much closer collaboration this term. House Captains will be back with a new House Challenge on Friday 14th January as they continue to lead and innovate.
Only a short week this week, but we have already seen some fantastic work posted to Seesaw. The learning journey will continue this term uninterrupted, both online initially and then face-to-face when back on campus.
We know Seesaw has now become a vital component in our communication with parents. Not only can parents access their child’s learning journal, but all messages are also catalogued for easy access. We plan for Seesaw to continue to be our main method of communicating with parents. Therefore, please ensure you have connected with the Seesaw Family app. This app ensures all messages (even for multiple siblings) are available in one place. Please do not hesitate to contact us for any assistance with this.
Enjoy the weekend and we look forward to the first full week of the new year beginning on Monday.
