Head of Primary Message Week 30

Hari Raya celebrations concluded in school this week with two great assemblies. A special thank you to our wonderful hosts, Prince Aiman, Eva, Bailey and Rania who all did a fantastic job and presented with confidence to a large crowd. Performances included singing, dancing, acting and storytelling. Thank you also to the parents of the performers who joined us in the ISB Theatre, a great way to end the week.

The Primary Leadership Team met with the Student Council this week to share ideas and discuss their feedback. We were all really impressed with how confident and articulate all members of the Student Council were in the meeting as they successfully represented Primary Students. In the meeting, the Student Council raised the following issues/ideas:

  • Break time and play provision

  • Frienship groups

  • Sporting activities

  • ECA suggestions

  • More fans in the Sports Hall

  • House Points

  • Trips

  • Canteen food

  • Fundraising

  • Word Walls

  • House Challenges

  • Drawing Club

  • Tree climbing

  • Wildlife protection

  • Meditation

  • Solar energy

All the issues raised will be analysed and we will prepare a full report for the Student Council to share with the ISB Community. They also enjoyed the spring rolls and cakes too!
