Celebrating International Day 🌏🎶
What an exceptional week it has been at ISB.
International Day is always one of the highlights of our school calendar, and this year was no exception. From the Parade of Nations weaving through campus to the vibrant stalls, delicious food, joyful music, and incredible performances in the Sports Hall, it was a true celebration of everything that makes ISB so special.
Days like these remind us how unique our community is, a place where over 35 nationalities come together to share culture, friendship, and pride. It’s not just about recognising the diversity within our community, but also about celebrating each home nation and the values that unite us as one ISB family.
A heartfelt thank you to every student, parent, and staff member who contributed, whether you performed on stage, helped prepare food, decorated a stall, or simply came along to celebrate. The day was alive with colour, laughter, and connection, the perfect reflection of ISB. 👏 👏
ISB Primary Talent
Our House Captains have been inspired by the spirit of International Day and have come up with an exciting idea, an ISB Talent Show.
This will be open to all students in Year 3 to Year 6, and we can’t wait to see what you come up with.
There’s no need to do anything just yet, full details will be shared on Seesaw soon, but it’s time to start thinking at home about what talent you might want to showcase.
It could be something classic like singing, dancing, or magic… or something a little more unique. Juggling, speed-cubing, storytelling, poetry recitals, playing an unusual instrument, or even creating a short comedy sketch or group act.
You can perform on your own or with friends, the most important thing is to share something you enjoy and let your confidence shine.
So for now, have a chat at home, start planning, and get ready to share your talent with the ISB community soon.
Thank you to Mrs Florence and the House Captains who have put together this short video to tell you more about the competition: 📺 🔗 CLICK HERE.
If you have any questions about any aspect of school life, please do not hesitate to message in Seesaw.
