Campus Closure and Water Supply
We are really sorry for the disruption caused and the closure of the Bandar Campus today. This was unavoidable as we could not guarantee the water supply, and so for the health, safety, and wellbeing of everyone, we had to close for the day. Thank you to the unwavering support of parents, who were inevitably disappointed to find out school was out for the day. This was probably balanced out by the visible glee of the students who got up early and ready for school, made the journey in, only to find out school was out for the day. Is there any better feeling?
Talent, Teamwork, and House Pride
I would like to thank everyone for all the entries for the House Talent Show competition. The House system at ISB is really thriving, with so many events planned across the year. Ms Florence and her team of exceptional House Captains do a fabulous job guiding our students. To support this, we have opened a new opportunity to purchase House Shirts, as we know students love to wear them on PE days and for special events. You will find the link in the Seesaw message alongside this update. Additionally, you should now see a coloured dot next to your child's name on Seesaw showing their house color; if there are any issues, please just let us know.
Uniform and Production Updates
We have also shared a link in Seesaw to purchase additional uniform items, including jumpers and cardigans. Meanwhile, our next school production is well underway, and we have shared the full script this week with the cast and crew. We are loosely inspired by the story of Around the World in 80 Days, and we ask that you keep the script under wraps as we do not want any 'leaks' before the opening night. 🤐
Looking Ahead: Dates for your Diary
Friday 13th February is going to be a busy and exciting day with Chinese New Year being celebrated in school. We invite all students to wear red to mark the occasion as part of our vibrant cultural celebrations.
We are also preparing for our Parent Teacher Consultations (PTC) taking place in Week 21. Appointments are now available to book via EduLink (Rec - Yr6), where you can currently book to see your child's class teacher. We will add Languages (MFL/EAL) appointments very soon, but if anyone needs help to access EduLink in order to make an appointment, please just message in Seesaw.

If you have any questions about any aspect of school life, please do not hesitate to message in Seesaw.
