Just keep swimming š
Today was the day.... our super swimmers in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 took to the pool to showcase their outstanding progress this year. We were delighted to welcome parents to watch and it was fantastic to see just how confident students are in the water.
Learning to swim is such an important life skill and something we take really seriously at ISB. Every child has access to regular swimming lessons as well as a comprehensive swim programme delivered by our expert coaches and Hammerheads squad.
During the swim gala today, parents commented how impressed they were with the progress from last year. Special congratulations to all involved and a huge thank you to the swim coaches and PE staff for expertly hosting. š š šŖ
Next up our Year 3, Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6 swim gala takes place on Friday 5th June (times to be confirmed).
Around the World š
Our school production has been an absolute triumph this year. Congratulations to all involved, some as young as Year 4. I hope you have had the opportunity to join our cast on their journey around the world. Having the opportunity to perform on stage in such a big production is a memory I am sure the entire cast will keep with them for years to come. It has been quite the show, look out for photos on social media in the weeks to come.
Short Week šļø
Just a short week next week. We are in school Monday and Tuesday before heading into the mid-term break. School will return on Tuesday 2nd June. Please see below for all the key dates coming up.
Over the break, we will also be updating Seesaw and adding new class groups before our scheduled transition day on Tuesday 9th June. Once we add the new classes to Seesaw a message will go out with additional instructions on how to generate a class list. Thank you for all the feedback so far, it has been useful in ensuring each class group is well-balanced for the new academic year.
