🗳️ We have invited the ISB community to vote on the applications they are most impressed by, but you don't have long. Voting closes very soon, with your feedback then being sent to the selection panel for final decisions to be made. It's going to be a really tough choice this year!
💚 On Monday 22nd May we will be recognising International Day of Biodiversity. Students have been invited to wear green for the day and requested to donate $1 for the school orangutang 🦧 project. In assemblies this week, we took a closer look at why biodiversity is so important to our everyday lives and why we should continue to work to protect unique environments. We also shared details of the Year 3 biodiversity installation project, look out for this at the Friendship Circle soon...
Congratulations to Reception who hosted a great concert in the ISB Theatre. This year, it was Jack and the Beanstalk. Reception children performed with confidence and took to the stage in costumes to represent the different characters. The songs were great and the narration of the story was perfect - well done to all involved (that includes the parents who have also helped with learning lines and singing songs). Special recognition to the Reception staff team for putting the whole thing together. 👏
In the coming weeks, we will be hosting various swim galas, it's great that all ISB students have the opportunity to learn and compete in the pool. Following the recent BJSL competition, we have posted some photos to the Primary Newsfeed here. 🗓️ More details to follow and there is a full overview of all upcoming events 👉 HERE 👈.
This week, we shared some important information about our Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) provision in Year 5 and Year 6. A full overview has been published to the Primary Newsfeed 👉 HERE 👈 which I hope is useful for parents preparing their children for the final two years of Primary School and the transition to Secondary.
