Head of Primary Message Week 24

The Mighty Write continues into a second week and we have been amazed and inspired by the submissions so far. A huge congratulations to the students who have had work posted to the Mighty Write Blog on Seesaw. We will continue to update the Primary Newsfeed with the very best writers next week.

We know that it is really tough at the moment, but we are so impressed with our students and the wonderful ISB community for making school fun. Just as it should be. This week, you have been demonstrating your awesome dance moves, having a flippin’ good time , have created wonderful works of art, and have just kept swimming despite the lack of water! This is what makes ISB such a great place to be, the holistic approach we take with each child, focussing on both wellbeing and academic excellence.

Our Student Council have presented a new community project. Student Council members did a fantastic job of introducing this great project during the LIVE Friday Assembly this week.

Year 4 celebrated their scientific thinking with a Science Fair, showcasing their own experiments to test their theories. The event was judged by Mr Trewern, Head of Science within our Secondary School and a winner was chosen from each class and received a special Science cap. Congratulations to Velda, Cyrus, Fatih and Emelia on their winning entries.

Preparations are underway for Book Week, taking place during the last week of this term. On Wednesday 23rd, we will all be donning our book character costumes. This year, the theme is ‘Books Rock’. We look forward to sharing more information over the next few days.

Congratulations to Sangang Blue House for being the first House to earn over 10,000 House Points in the overall competition across both Bandar and Seria campuses.

Next week, we welcome an accreditation team from the Council of International Schools (CIS). This important accreditation ensures we continue to offer the very highest standard of education for all students, enabling everyone to excel. We look forward to welcoming the team during their virtual visit and we are excited to showcase all of the wonderful elements of school life.
