Head of Primary Message Week 11

The 11th November is a day for reflection and remembrance. First World War hostilities formally ended at the 11th hour, on the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918. The broader themes of conflict and remembrance have been observed across the campus today, with students participating in a range of initiatives.

This week, our Free Write Friday provides the opportunity for students to send a postcard into space. We are delighted to be working with NIAT on this amazing project and we are very excited to start receiving your postcards in the Primary Office.

If you enjoy this Free Write Friday, why not take a look back at some of the previous projects? So far this year, we have invited students to share their ideas and writing all about themselves, we have inspired dinosaur themed fiction, swam with sharks, written and shared instructions, and explored the world of emojis. 😍

Congratulations to all students who have so far participated in Barvember. We have been amazed by the number of posts into Seesaw and it is wonderful to see families working together on these complex Maths problems. If you would like to read more about some of the theory behind this initiative, there is a Deep Dive post added to the Primary Newsfeed.

Rez and Tang will be returning soon for part 2. We are delighted to be bringing back our intrepid adventurers for a second episode. This time, Rez and Tang will be exploring the unique sights and sounds of Brunei. Mr Trent and his very talented student team are busy creating now and we can't wait to share it with you. In the meantime, you can revisit episode 1 below. Relive Rez & Tang's food journey across Brunei.
