Reception Fun Sports Day
Friday 10th June 2022
10am – 10.50am
On Friday 10th June, the PE Faculty will be holding our annual Reception Sports Day in the main Sports hall at ISB. Students will arrive at school and head to their class as usual.
At 9.55am, the children will make their way to the sports hall to participate in some athletic related activities to showcase their wonderful enthusiasm, skills and abilities.
The first activity will begin at 10am and we will be finished at approximately 10.50am. Children can be collected from the sports hall after the event has finished; please inform your child’s teacher if you are taking your child home with you.
You are most welcome to come and watch the sports day but please remember that there will be limited space in the Sports hall, so we kindly ask parents to observe our social distancing and mask wearing SOPs.
Unless directed, I kindly ask that parents / guardians do not to follow their children around and be aware of other activities being undertaken by the children. There will be no food or drinks in the hall (children’s water excluded) and please limit photographs/videos to your own child.
On the day, your child will need to bring:
A water bottle with plenty of water in.
ISB PE kit and shoes that are appropriate for PE/they can run in (trainers).

Year 1 & 2 Sports Day
Friday 10th June 2022
7:40am – 9:10am
On Friday 10th June, the PE faculty will be holding our annual Year 1 and 2 Sports Day on the field at ISB. Students should arrive at ISB wearing their house shirt, PE shorts/bottoms and sports trainers. ISB navy PE shirts should be worn if students do not own a house shirt. As usual, school uniform will not be required on Friday, 10th June.
Students should arrive at school and make their way to their class as usual. All students will be escorted to the sports field at 7:30am with a view to starting their first athletic event at 7.40am. Sports day will finish at approximately 11am after which the children will either go back to the class or be taken home. If you wish to take your child home at this point, please don’t forget to inform their class teacher.
You are most welcome to come and watch our sports day, shaded areas will be provided for both students and parents.
On the day, your child will need to bring:
A hat – all activities will be on the sports field.
A water bottle with plenty of water in (refills are available).
ISB house shirts/PE kit and shoes that are appropriate for PE (trainers).
Sun cream, pre-applied is preferable.
