Head of Primary Message Week 35

Year 6 Ceremony

We ended the week with a fantastic celebration to acknowledge our wonderful Year 6 cohort. Families joined us in the ISB Theatre for a formal ceremony to award certificates to each student on the completion of their Primary school education. This cohort in particular has made us very proud, demonstrating resilience and achieving remarkable outcomes.

Primary education is just the first stage of every child’s voyage. We consistently aim to ensure each child has a solid foundation in learning and the Year 6 class of 2022 are now ready to build upon this into their next stage of development.

We have taken great care to ensure the attainment, progress and achievement of each child is at the heart of everything we do. We continue to nurture the whole child, ensuring a holistic approach which includes academic rigour as well as a focus on emotional wellbeing.

Thank you for allowing us the privilege of guiding your child. For the Year 6 cohort, it has been an honour to ensure they are ready for this important next step. For each other year group, we remain committed to each individual child in our care.

Completing Primary School education is an important milestone in any childs life and we know the young learners on stage today will go on to achieve heights not yet dreamed of. It was a pleasure to celebrate with the Year 6 class of 2022 - the world is in good hands.

Lots more photos released very soon...

As the year draws to a close, it is remarkable to see just how successful our students of all ages have been this year. We are now in the process of quantifying just some of these achievements in preparation for our upcoming end of year reporting to parents. Students in every year group are an absolute credit to their families and have shown how a community can thrive, even in the most difficult of circumstances.

We are looking forward to another festival of sports next week. The Year 1 and Year 2 students had a wonderful time at their Sports Day, as did the Reception children. Next up, Year 3 to Year 6 take to the field. The following week, on Friday 1st July, we will be celebrating again by acknowledging the academic excellence of our multiplication champions - it's great to be back to normal. At this same event our House Captains will be handing over to the next group of student leaders.

To get a flavour of what the current House Captains achieved this year, we have put together a special playlist where you can revisit some of their wonderfully creative work. And they are not quite done yet....
